“The great rap logos from the history of hip hop acted as cultural co-signs, and for every great rapper and label there is a memorable stamp of approval. A lot of the great ones were designed in the art departments of the labels by a few notable designers, who at the time probably didn’t know that they were penning what would become cultural iconography.
